“Your mind will answer most questions if you learn to relax and wait for the answer.” ~William S. Burroughs
Become friends with the present moment and begin to experience peaceas long as you are identified and run by your mind, it will come up with “problems” for you to focus on.
Every single time a dilemma is solved, you can be sure of a new one arising that feels equally stressing as the previous one
there is a way to break free from this endless loop of stress. It starts by realizing how pointless and harmful this useless worry actually is. Once you become aware of the negativity that these thought patterns create, it will be much easier to let go of your “problems” once and for all
We don’t need to compare ourselves to others of the same age as we are. If we stopped comparing ourselves to others in our age group, there is no doubt we would be happier with being ourselves and more at peace with our present conditions.
Age is just numbers anyway. The eternal part of us is ageless, which means that it never gets old. Relate to that part of yourself, instead of giving numbers the power to affect your mood
You are much more than just your emotions. You are the awareness that is able to perceive them.
Emotions are another sense just like, taste, smell, sight, sound and touch. Use the data from the emotion to inform you, not rule you! you rule them!
Embrace your unique qualities and talents
Stop multitasking.
Although this may not seem to have anything to do with anxiety, it’s related. I used to do a lot of things at the same time: work, check my phone, answer an email, make small talk with somebody, and so on.These interruptions made me lose track of where I was standing, and those times when you feel lost are a great place for anxiety to settle in.
Focus on one thing at a time, and you’ll naturally feel less anxious
See anxiety as an opportunity.
In retrospect, I see that anxiety was probably the best thing that ever happened to me. It was when I felt anxious that I knew that I had to make changes—with my approach to my work, my passions, and my mindset.Anxiety goes away only when we learn what it’s teaching us. That is when we can move on.
